Well, Gooba Designs is finally official and the Etsy store is up and running.

For someone who feels like it takes me forever to get some things
done, getting to THIS point is definitely a relief and I feel a slight
sense of accomplishment as well, which is nice. On the other hand,
there is still so much to do. In addition to starting this blog, I also
fired up a Facebook page…gotta get the name out there. (Like us on Facebook, please!)

Baby steps though; especially considering I barely have time to even
turn on my computer most days nor am I very good at keeping up with my
own personal Facebook account. I am going to remain positive though,
which is something else I am also still working on!
On to fabric, sewing, quilting, etc. One project I am working on
right now is a quilt using the Sweetwater Noteworthy line from Moda
Fabrics. I like the pattern (which I will blog about later) because in
addition to a decent amount of neutral fabric, it only uses two charm
packs, 5" x 5", with some of them cut to 2.5" squares. Which brings me
to my photos, there is just something awesome about a stack of fabric,
especially little squares. I hope you enjoy the colors and the cute
little stack.
And here the little guys are in stacks organized by pattern and color.
